Job summary

Multi-Power Products Ltd. in Kelowna, BC, is a leading Canadian manufacturer of exploratory drilling and industrial equipment. The Material Handler role is part of the Inventory team, handling receiving, inventory levels, and allocation of goods with attention to detail.

The position is full-time, Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m., with a daytime schedule and no weekend work. Benefits include an EAP, RRSP matching, tool and boot allowance, and gym membership.

Qualifications

• Must have good communication and organizational skills.
• High School diploma (Grade 12).
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to lift up to 25 kg.

Responsibilities

• Loading and unloading daily shipping trucks as requested
• Following purchase order instructions to relocate received goods to allocated staging area or inventory locations
• Convey inventory stock level differences of items being restocked to inventory control personnel
• General cleanup of warehouses
• General warehouse organisation daily
• Construction and/or assembly of crates and containers
• Physical inventory counts as directed by inventory control personnel
• Local parts pick-ups
• Coordinating with multiple departments to move and stage manufactured parts
• Assist inventory control personnel when requested with general warehouse duties: order picking and packing, assembling pallet racking and shelving, etc.

The Material Handler is a key part of Multi-Power's current Inventory team and is responsible for receiving, maintaining inventory levels and allocation of goods. This position is for a candidate who is detail oriented and able to work independently.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
