Job summary

Gateway Casinos & Entertainment Limited is seeking a Third Cook for a part-time/permanent role in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Starting wage is $20.40/hr, with $22.67/hr after one year. The company offers full benefits for full-time staff, a retirement plan, and development opportunities.

Responsibilities include proper food prep, sanitation, inventory assistance, and safety compliance. A stable, team-oriented, customer-focused atmosphere awaits at Gateway’s many locations.

Qualifications

• Secondary school diploma or a minimum of one-year related work experience.
• Safe food handling course and knife handling skills.
• Must be able to obtain registration as a Category 2 Gaming Assistant with the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario.
• Proven high level of customer service.
• Ability to work and excel in a fast-paced large volume business.

Key Responsibilities

What You Bring
