Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and analytical Master Scheduler to join our team in the aerospace industry. This role is responsible for creating and maintaining detailed production schedules that align with customer requirements, inventory targets, and manufacturing capabilities. The Master Scheduler will play a pivotal role in ensuring on-time delivery, minimizing production downtime, and supporting efficient resource planning across our operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and manage integrated production schedules to meet customer delivery commitments and internal manufacturing goals.
• Govern the overall Program schedule to ensure alignment with milestones, deadlines, and contract obligations.
• Coordinate cross-functionally using structured methods such as SIOP processes, Integrated Master Scheduling (IMS), regular planning meetings, and collaborative planning tools.
• Collaborate with Procurement, Methods, Industrialization, Engineering, Production, Quality, and Logistics to ensure material, labor, and equipment readiness aligns with schedule requirements.
• Utilize MRP/MPS systems to drive material planning and production control.
• Analyze demand forecasts, order backlogs, and inventory levels to determine schedule feasibility and recommend adjustments.
• Monitor adherence to production schedules; proactively identify and resolve scheduling conflicts and bottlenecks.
• Provide timely updates and communication of schedule changes to internal stakeholders and external partners.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing scheduling efficiency, lead times, and customer satisfaction.
• Maintain accurate records, reports, and KPIs related to Master Schedule performance and capacity utilization.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

• Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, and Operations Management, or a related field.
• 5–7 years of experience in master scheduling or production planning, preferably within the aerospace, defense, or high-tech manufacturing industries.
• Strong working knowledge of ERP/MRP/MPS systems such as SAP, IFS, JD Edwards (JDE), and Visual.
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills; ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Solid understanding of manufacturing processes, lead times, and capacity planning.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; capable of working collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables, Macros, and VBA.
• APICS/ASCM CPIM certification is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of Power BI is a plus.
