Job Description

We are seeking an Environmental Planner for our Calgary office. You will be a leader and collaborator, capable of critical thinking to solve environmental challenges. Your experience with environmental assessments, legislation, and communications will be vital in project planning, management, and business development.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on municipal infrastructure projects in Calgary.
  • Prepare scientific and technical reports, permits, and regulatory documents.
  • Lead projects through federal, provincial, and municipal regulatory processes.
  • Engage in continuous learning and professional development.
Job Requirements

What you will bring:

  • Registration with a professional organization (e.g., ASPB, AIA) or eligibility for registration.
  • 3+ years post-graduation experience in environmental consulting, focusing on regulatory and permit delivery.
  • Strong understanding of provincial and federal legislation, regulation, and permitting processes.
  • Leadership skills, emotional intelligence, and relationship-building abilities.
  • Excellent communication and technical report writing skills.
  • Valid Driver's Licence.
