Job summary

Reliance Home Comfort is hiring a Master Electrician to diagnose and repair electrical issues in residential homes. You will estimate costs, communicate with homeowners, and install equipment per manufacturer specs. The role emphasizes safety, customer service, and professional conduct in a fast-paced environment.

You must hold a 309A license, have 5+ years of experience, and a clean driver’s record. Travel within service areas and ongoing training are part of the role.

Qualifications

• Certified Electrician with 309A license and Ontario registration.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as an electrician.
• Must have a valid driver's license with clean abstract.
• Excellent verbal communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair electrical problems in residential systems.

What will you do?

• Learn and grow as an important part of a team that cares about Reliance and its customers.
• Represent Reliance in a professional, courteous and customer service oriented manner on each and every call.
• Diagnose and repair electrical problems in domestic electrical systems, including but is not limited to fault-finding, panel changes, generator installation, knob and tube removal, home rewiring etc.
• Accurately estimate repair costs, fixed right the first time and continual value-added communication with the homeowner
• Set priorities and work assignments to meet established deadlines
• Perform diagnostics, repair, maintain, service and install equipment in accordance with manufacturer specifications
• Adhere to all safety rules and procedures and relevant regulatory requirements.
• Perform general and specific equipment inspections
• Educate customers on electrical work in homes
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all modern equipment and regulations
• Explain the value of Reliance products, services and programs on every call

• Required to be a certified Electrician and hold the 309A License
• 5+ years' experience as an Electrician
• Must be registered with the Ontario College of Trades
