Role Description

The Marketing Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Richmond Hill, ON. This position is responsible for executing and continuously improving marketing strategies that support business growth across both digital and traditional channels.

The Marketing Specialist will take an active role in planning, launching, managing, and evaluating marketing campaigns across organic and paid channels. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing website and social media content, supporting search and paid advertising initiatives, conducting keyword and market research, monitoring campaign performance, analyzing customer and competitive data, and identifying opportunities to improve traffic, lead generation, conversions, and overall marketing effectiveness.

A strong analytical mindset is essential. The successful candidate will be comfortable working with marketing data, performance metrics, attribution, dashboards, and reporting to understand what is working, identify areas for improvement, and make informed recommendations. The role requires someone who can move comfortably between strategy, analysis, content, campaign execution, and day-to-day marketing operations.

The Marketing Specialist will also collaborate with sales, engineering, and operations teams to ensure marketing initiatives align with business objectives, maintain marketing materials and presentations, assist with events and trade shows where required, and contribute to the continued development of the company's overall marketing strategy.

Qualifications
  • Demonstrated experience planning, executing, monitoring, and optimizing digital marketing campaigns across multiple channels.
  • Strong working knowledge of search engine optimization, search marketing, paid digital advertising, social media marketing, and website optimization.
  • Experience working with platforms and tools such as Google Ads, Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Meta advertising platforms, SEO tools, CRM systems, and other marketing and analytics platforms.
  • Strong data analysis and reporting capabilities, with the ability to interpret campaign data, identify trends, evaluate performance, and translate findings into practical marketing decisions.
  • Strong understanding of marketing KPIs, conversion tracking, attribution, lead generation, campaign performance, and return on marketing investment.
  • Experience conducting keyword research, market research, competitor analysis, customer research, and industry trend analysis.
  • Ability to develop, manage, and improve organic marketing initiatives alongside paid acquisition campaigns.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to develop clear marketing content and communicate complex information effectively.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple campaigns, projects, priorities, and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Detail-oriented and methodical, with a high standard for accuracy and quality of work.
  • Hardworking, dependable, reliable, and accountable, with a strong sense of ownership and follow-through.
  • Versatile and adaptable, with the ability to work across different areas of marketing and respond effectively to changing business priorities.
  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently while also collaborating effectively with a broader team.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, initiative, and willingness to investigate performance issues and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office or similar productivity software.
  • Experience marketing within a B2B environment is an asset.
  • Post-secondary education in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
