Marketing Operations Analyst - SQL and Offer Creation

**We are seeking authorized candidates who are local to or commutable to Toronto, Ontario, for hybrid office requirements.**

We’re looking for a data-driven Marketing Operations Analyst to join oure-commerce client’s team and help deliver engaging customer offers. If you have strong SQL skills and hands-on experience with marketing campaigns, loyalty programs, or promotional offers, this consultant role will let you put both your technical and marketing expertise into action.

What You’ll Do
  • Create and manage promotional offers on a weekly basis, ensuring accuracy and timely execution.
  • Use SQL to pull and analyze customer and product data to inform offer targeting and performance tracking.
  • Test offers in both staging (SIT) and live (PROD) environments to guarantee flawless customer experiences.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues quickly to keep campaigns running smoothly.
  • Collaborate with marketing and merchandising teams to align offers with overall campaigns and promotions.
  • Analyze results to identify trends and provide insights that improve future offers.
  • Support ad hoc requests that help optimize offer creation and execution processes.
What We’re Looking For
  • Strong SQL querying skills and comfort working with large datasets.
  • Background in CRM, loyalty marketing, or marketing operations (offer creation or campaign execution experience is a big plus).
  • Analytical mindset — ability to spot trends, troubleshoot issues, and turn data into actionable insights.
  • Strong communication skills for working with cross-functional teams (marketing, merchandising, IT).
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and adaptable — you’ll be testing, validating, and adjusting campaigns on tight timelines.
Nice to Have
  • Experience with email marketing platforms or CRM systems (Acoustic, Hubspot, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Mailchimp, etc.).
  • Exposure to e-commerce or retail marketing environments.
  • Familiarity with campaign QA, SIT/PROD testing, or technical troubleshooting in a marketing context.
