Job description

We're an online music education company with the mission to create a world where everyone can play the songs they love!

I’m looking for a Drumeo Marketing Manager who is experienced and comfortable managing a digital marketing funnel and executing monthly promotions.

You’ll have experience building a promotional calendar, executing paid ads and email marketing campaigns, and coordinating assets across multiple teams. The successful candidate will write persuasive copy that creates value and motivates prospects to take action. You’re comfortable writing to people at all stages of the marketing funnel – from awareness to conversion and loyalty.

You understand drummers – their problems, motivations and dreams – and sincerely want to create solutions for them.

You'll make an immediate impact if you have :

You'll work closely with the Growth Director to facilitate the growth of Drumeo – both in revenue and awareness. If you're successful in getting this role, you will be key in maintaining a healthy long-term marketing funnel while capitalizing on spontaneous marketing opportunities.

The salary range for this role is $75,000–$85,000. Most candidates can expect an offer toward the lower to mid part of the range, depending on experience and alignment with the role’s requirements.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

You will be integral in supporting the Growth Director with :

  • Promotions . You’re responsible for executing a monthly promotion calendar that aligns with Drumeo’s annual revenue goals.
  • Copywriting . Build and maintain Drumeo’s email list by writing everything from lesson-based value emails to direct-response conversion emails.
  • Lead Generation . Solve problems for drummers, gain their trust, and nurture them with lessons and special offers.
  • Trial Generation . Inspire more people to start and continue playing the drums with Drumeo lessons.
  • Advertising . Outline creative concepts and write ad copy that resonates with prospective drummers and motivates them to learn more about our lessons and products.
  • Analysis . Monitor and analyze key performance metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of campaigns and optimize performance.
  • Project Management. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including graphics, web development, and partnerships, to align marketing efforts with overall business goals.
  • Artist Relations : Ensure you speak on behalf of Musora while interacting with artists, and maintain a positive and professional environment.

  • Leadership : Strong leadership skills are essential for guiding and inspiring a marketing team, fostering collaboration, and driving results toward achieving brand objectives.
  • Communication : Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, are necessary for conveying marketing strategies, ideas, and objectives to team members, stakeholders, and external partners / artists.
  • Digital Marketing Expertise : Proficiency in various digital marketing channels such as social media, email, SEO, SEM, and content marketing is essential for reaching and engaging target audiences in today's digital landscape.
  • Brand Management : Understanding brand identity, values, and positioning, and ensuring consistency across all marketing efforts to build and maintain a strong brand image and reputation.
  • Project Management : Strong project management skills to plan, execute, and oversee marketing campaigns and initiatives, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Adaptability : The marketing landscape is constantly evolving, so being adaptable and open to change is crucial for staying ahead of trends, adjusting strategies as needed, and capitalizing on new opportunities.

Reporting Structure :

  • You will report directly to the Growth Director
  • This role is hybrid, onsite three days per week.
