Job description

Description

Toast is recruiting on behalf of this company that is on a mission to create a waste-free world by making sustainability effortless for businesses and consumers alike. What started as a grassroots initiative has evolved into an enterprise technology platform, eliminating thousands of tons of single-use waste annually across North America. Venture-backed and deeply mission-driven, this company is committed to prioritizing the planet, people, and profit—with a focus on driving scalable impact.

They are seeking a strategic and results-oriented Marketing Lead to spearhead their go-to-market initiatives, support sales growth, and enhance brand engagement. This role is ideal for a proactive marketer passionate about creating measurable change through sustainability and innovation.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy in collaboration with leadership, focusing on business growth and brand credibility.
  • Refine the go-to-market strategy and ideal customer profiles to ensure targeted, impactful messaging.
  • Lead B2B marketing efforts including digital campaigns, content creation, and engagement initiatives.
  • Create and manage website content, newsletters, email sequences, and social media content to drive lead generation and customer loyalty.
  • Plan and execute paid and organic campaigns across platforms such as LinkedIn and Google.
  • Develop high-quality customer case studies and manage the company’s presence at conferences, trade shows, and speaking engagements.
  • Optimize lead generation funnels and nurture campaigns to maximize pipeline growth.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, product, and customer support teams to align marketing efforts with business objectives.
  • Manage the marketing budget and track ROI to ensure efficient resource allocation and measurable success.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in B2B SaaS marketing and sales, ideally in a fast-paced, growth-stage environment.
  • Proven track record in driving lead generation, brand awareness, and revenue growth through strategic marketing initiatives.
  • Strong analytical skills with a data-driven approach to optimizing marketing performance.
  • Proficiency with AI-enabled marketing tools such as Apollo and HubSpot.
  • Experience in building and executing integrated marketing strategies across multiple channels.
  • Ability to develop compelling content across various mediums including web, email, and social platforms.
  • High-ownership mindset, with a proactive and results-driven work style.
  • Excellent collaboration and stakeholder management skills.
  • Passion for sustainability and making a positive environmental impact.

Benefits

  • Competitive salary range of $80,000 – $110,000, plus stock options.
  • Comprehensive benefits package including dental, vision, and health coverage through Pacific Blue Cross.
  • Access to Outdoor Prolink for discounted outdoor gear.
  • A vibrant, collaborative co-working space in downtown Vancouver with beautiful mountain views.
  • Annual company-wide offsite to foster connection and growth.
  • Commitment to fostering an inclusive workplace that values diverse experiences and perspectives, encouraging women and underrepresented groups to apply.
  • Application Review

Submit your application, including your resume and cover letter, through our online portal. Our team will carefully review your qualifications and experiences. We take pride in responding promptly, so if your application aligns with our current opportunities, you’ll hear back from us with next steps. • Vetting Call

If your application is successful, we’ll schedule a vetting call with a member of the Toast team. This 30-45 minute informal conversation is designed for us to get to know you better and assess your skills. Be prepared to discuss your past projects, the challenges you’ve tackled, and the impact you’ve made. This is your chance to shine and show us why you’re a great fit for the roles we offer.
