  • Attention to Detail & Organization – Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
  • Communication & Collaboration – Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work cross-functionally with internal teams and external vendors.

Key Responsibilities

Event Management:

  • Support the execution of our North American event strategy, including managing logistics for conferences and events across Canada and the USA (note some travel will be required)
  • Coordinate with vendors, manage event shipments, booth set-ups, and materials
  • Book team travel including flights, accommodations, and transportation; create and share detailed itineraries
  • Maintain and manage event calendars and logistics documentation

Marketing Support:

  • Assist with lead generation administrative tasks, including CRM updates and website reporting
  • Support campaign reporting, data entry, and follow-up activities post-events
  • Help coordinate marketing collateral orders, promotional items, and shipping logistics

Office Management:

  • Act as the point of contact for all Vancouver office needs, ensuring a productive, welcoming environment (currently 20px with plans to scale!)
  • Plan and manage internal office events and team building activities (some recent ones – Curling and a team golf competition!)
  • Manage office supplies, grocery orders, equipment needs, etc.
  • Oversee the set-up of new desks and onboarding logistics for new hires (merch!)
  • Coordinate office maintenance and repairs, ensuring health and safety compliance

Skills & Experience

  • 3-5 years of experience in marketing coordination, event management, office administration, or a similar role
  • Experience supporting B2B marketing and events is highly desirable.
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Proficient in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and basic website/analytics reporting is a plus
  • Ability to travel occasionally within Canada and the USA for event support
  • Comfortable working onsite at the Vancouver office
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-starter with a positive, proactive attitude

Why Join Acorn PLMS?

  • A dynamic, supportive, and growth-focused work environment.
  • Opportunities for professional growth and career advancement.
  • Competitive salary and benefits package.

Location

We are open to individuals based in Vancouver, Canada. We are an office-first company, meaning we work from our local offices the majority (if not all) of the time. We want to create cool stuff with great people, and we know from experience that is best done through daily moments like the coffee run, walk to grab lunch, or quick huddles.

Being able to capitalize on this is key to our ongoing success and a large part of the reason we can work at the pace we do. Please note candidates will need to be in commuting distance to our offices based in Gastown.

Applicants must have full working rights in Canada to be considered for this role. Unfortunately, we are unable to provide visa sponsorship at this time.

Our recruitment process

Acorn is committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace where everyone feels valued and respected. We are an equal opportunities employer and welcome applications from all qualified candidates. We aim to ensure that our recruitment process is fair and accessible to everyone and encourage candidates to request any accommodations needed during the application or interview stages.
