Rosebud School of the Arts is seeking a Marketing Coordinator for an 8-week position to assist in promoting summer programs and cultural offerings. The role involves managing advertising efforts, engaging with media, and creating social media content to attract tourists to the region. Ideal candidates will be creative, communicative, and aligned with the organization's mission of diversity and inclusion.
Reports to: Marketing & Communications Manager
Duration: 8 Weeks (possibility of extension)
Rate: $17/hour
Location: On-site in Rosebud, Alberta
The Marketing Coordinator will support the Marketing & Communications Manager by assisting in attracting tourists to Canada's Badlands (greater Drumheller region), specifically promoting Rosebud Theatre's summer cultural offerings. Responsibilities include supporting the marketing department in promoting summer programs, festivals, managing advertising and publicity efforts (including online ads), media relations, organizing engagement contests, writing press releases, creating social media content, archiving marketing materials, and developing an online show archive.
