Job summary

GoodMorning.com Inc. is seeking a Marketing Communications Specialist to build and manage external partnerships that strengthen our brands. You will source editorials, manage influencer programs, and coordinate with internal teams to deliver high-quality assets and placements.

You will identify opportunities with third-party publications, media partners, creators, and events, and oversee campaigns from outreach through evaluation. A strong writing and negotiation background is essential.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Business, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 2 to 5 years of experience in marketing communications, public relations, influencer marketing, partnerships, media relations, or a related marketing function.
  • Demonstrated experience building and managing relationships with external partners, media, publications, influencers, creators, or agencies.
  • Experience managing influencer or creator campaigns from sourcing and outreach through briefing, negotiation, asset delivery, and campaign completion.
  • Experience assessing influencer or creator performance using engagement, reach, audience, content quality, and other relevant metrics.
  • Experience negotiating rates, deliverables, contracts, usage rights, or partnership terms is strongly preferred.
  • Strong writing, editing, presentation, and verbal communication skills.
  • Familiarity with Meta Business Suite and creator or influencer management platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, evaluate, and build relationships with third-party publications, media organizations, content partners, creators, influencers, and other organizations that align with GoodMorning's brands, audiences, and marketing objectives.
  • Source opportunities for paid and earned editorial coverage, sponsored content, product features, reviews, partnerships, and other third-party placements.
  • Manage relationships with external publications from initial outreach through negotiation, briefing, content development, approval, publication, and post-campaign follow-up.
  • Identify opportunities to generate credible third-party endorsements and trust markers that can be leveraged across GoodMorning's websites and marketing channels.
  • Research relevant industry, product, business, and consumer awards, assess fit and value, and manage award submissions from application through judging, announcement, and activation of wins.
  • Own the day-to-day management of GoodMorning's influencer and UGC programs, manage influencer and creator partnerships, including evaluating fit and performance, negotiating rates, deliverables, usage rights, timelines, and other campaign requirements.
  • Develop clear campaign briefs and review influencer and UGC content for quality, accuracy, brand alignment, and adherence to requirements before handing approved assets to internal Creative teams for activation.
  • Manage GoodMorning's presence and creator activity through platforms including Meta Business Suite and relevant creator management tools.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for partnership, media, sponsorship, and collaboration inquiries, assess opportunities, and coordinate next steps with the appropriate teams.
  • Support the planning and execution of small-scale company and community events, including retail-location events, partnerships, logistics, vendors, communications, and on-site coordination as required.
  • Build and maintain an organized pipeline of publication, media, influencer, award, partnership, and event opportunities.
  • Track the performance and outcomes of external marketing activities, including placements, reach, engagement, content assets, trust markers, partnership value, and other relevant measures.
  • Maintain strong relationships with existing external partners while continuously identifying new opportunities that can increase brand reach, credibility, and commercial impact.
  • Stay informed about relevant media, creator, influencer, communications, consumer, and partnership trends and identify opportunities for GoodMorning to act on them.
  • Support the team with any other external relations work as needed

Our Marketing Communications Specialist is a relationship builder and skilled communicator responsible for strengthening GoodMorning's brands through third-party partnerships, media and publication relationships, influencer and creator programs, awards, events, and other external marketing opportunities.

This role identifies and develops relationships with publications, media partners, creators, influencers, organizations, and other third parties that can increase brand awareness, credibility, and consumer trust. The Marketing Communications Specialist manages opportunities from initial outreach and evaluation through negotiation, execution, asset delivery, and performance assessment.

Working closely with Brand, Creative, Marketing, Retail, and other internal teams, this role ensures external partnerships and communications align with brand objectives, deliver high-quality assets and placements, and create opportunities that can be leveraged across GoodMorning's marketing ecosystem.

In this role, you will

Experience with media outreach, sponsored content, earned media, awards programs, partnerships, events, or public relations is an asset.

Sound judgment when assessing brand alignment, reputational considerations, content quality, and partnership fit.

Ability to work independently and take ownership of opportunities from initial identification through execution and follow-up.

Strong cross-functional collaboration skills and the ability to coordinate effectively with Brand, Creative, Retail, Legal, and other internal stakeholders.

Curiosity and initiative in identifying new publications, creators, partnerships, awards, events, and other opportunities that can strengthen GoodMorning.com's brands.
