Pay or shift range: $110,000 CAD to $120,000 CAD

Description

The position of MarketManager has full P&L responsibility for the respective operation, while also overseeing the development, implementation, and execution of strategic/tacticalobjectivesin support of company initiatives.The successful candidate will provide support, leadership, team building, supervision, training, and development of employees to consistently achieve superior performance.

The successful candidate mustdemonstratethe leadership, competencies, skills, and knowledge to drive employee excellence and financial performance measurably andconsistently andultimately become a succession candidate for senior positions throughout our company.

Responsibilities
  • Maintains consistent presence throughout the segment, while partnering with Segment Team leaders using decision process to develop and implement business strategies to improve business.
  • Responsible for annual achievement of financial performance, while delivering flawless customer service
  • Develops top talent for the organization whiledemonstratingleadership competency to motivate and engage employees
  • Provides training and development of employees, removes, and replaces under performers.
  • Responsibility & accountability for developing strong relationship with key customers in each market.
  • Works closely with WarehouseLeadership to establish best practices and consistency in all warehouse & delivery operations, keeping continuous improvement top of mind
  • Working closely with the Division SafetyManager, creates a Safety "First" culture that is Compliant, Legal and Ethical
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting/Finance, or related backgroundrequired, MBA an asset
  • Minimum of 7 to 10 yearsdemonstratedexperience inBranchManagement/Operationsrequired
  • Specific knowledge of the supply and distribution industryrequired
  • Specific knowledge onmanufacturingprocessesand best practicesisrequired
  • Must havedemonstratedsuccess with problem analysis and problem resolution at both a strategic and functional level
  • Ability to work with a wide degree of creativity and latitude
  • Mustdemonstrateexpertisein a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures
  • Strong customer and employee orientation
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to include presentation skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • Must have a strong commitment to company values
  • Sporadic multi-night travel isrequired
  • Relocation/Transfer to the hiring branch may berequired
