Job summary

Mark's in Canada is seeking a Store Leader to drive daily operations, team development, and extraordinary customer service. You will oversee B2B and omni‑channel activities, ensure accurate order entry and timely delivery, and coach staff to maintain high standards across the store.

The role requires 3–5 years of retail experience, strong communication, and the ability to implement procedures while promoting a positive work culture.

Qualifications

  • Proven ability to coach, mentor and develop department and store team through setting expectations, communication, coaching, feedback and ongoing support.
  • Experience building and managing daily and weekly plans for the department and store.
  • Exceptional communication and organizational skills.
  • Superior training and mentoring skills.
  • 3–5 years of retail experience required.
  • High energy, enthusiasm and a drive to succeed.
  • Basic computer skills required.

Responsibilities

  • Provides leadership to the team, coaching and follow up to ensure delivery of service model standards to each customer.
  • Leads the B2B Mark’s Commercial Business function, managing order entry and ensuring accurate/timely deliveries.
  • Offers in‑store eCommerce and fulfills online orders within defined service levels.
  • Supports inventory movement to the sales floor and customer experience.
  • Implements and ensures compliance with operating procedures, processes and policies.
  • Manages scheduling and coordinates shipping/receiving, eCommerce fulfillment, cash management and systems compliance.
  • Assists with inventories and adherence to LP, cash, audit and OH&S policies.
  • Assumes responsibility for store operations in the Store Manager’s absence.
  • Develops and executes the Daily Game Plan for operations activities.
  • Conducts Shift Starter meetings and training follow‑ups.
  • Acts as a brand ambassador, promotes brands and culture, and motivates the team through recognition and contests.
  • Maintains performance management expectations and enforces disciplinary processes.
  • Promotes a positive, inclusive, and empowering work environment.

Job description

Responsibilities
  • Provides leadership to the team, consistently coaching and following up to ensure delivery of service model standards to each customer.

  • Provides an exceptional omni‑channel experience by offering in‑store eCommerce sales and fulfilling eCommerce orders within defined service levels.
  • Supports the customer experience through timely processing and movement of inventory to the salesfloor.
  • Implements, communicates, and ensures compliance with all operating procedures, processes, and policies.
  • Manages scheduling and coordinates execution of shipping/receiving, eCommerce fulfillment operations, cash management, and operations systems & compliance.
  • Assists in preparation and execution of annual inventories, and maintains compliance with all corporate LP, cash, audit, and OH&S policies and procedures.
  • Assumes responsibility for all operations of the store in the absence of the Store Manager.
  • Creates and communicates execution of Daily Game Plan for operations activities.
  • Conducts Shift Starter meetings and coaching sessions, following up to complete required training within timeframes.

  • Salary range: $34,800 – $43,500 (dependent on experience, store size, market location and other factors).
