The Canada Energy Regulator (CER) is seeking a Market Analyst in Calgary, Alberta, for a term position of about 24 months. You will guide energy information strategy, analysis, and programs, leading teams and advising on data products and visualization.
You will work with SQL, Python and Power BI to manage data and publish energy information, supporting decision-makers across the organization and collaborating across CER platforms.

Accordingly, you can make key contributions in guiding the CER’s energy information strategy, analysis, and programs.The Market Analyst will report to the Director, Energy Markets, within the Energy Information Business Unit. They will help guide the Energy and Pipeline Information Program. This includes supporting energy information publications, advising on energy information, enhancing data management strategies, and actively supporting colleagues through coaching and mentoring.
