Job summary

Brock University in Ontario is hiring a CUPE4207-1 marker-grader for assignments, term projects and exams, with written feedback and potential invigilation. Rate scales by degree: Master’s $36.00/hour, undergraduate $31.04/hour, and lower levels according to year completed.

Qualifications

• Must have completed ENTR 3P92 (or equivalent in English) with 80% or higher
• Graduate of or major in Business with a minimum major average of 75%
• Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal
• Proven track record of working effectively with deadlines
• Previous marker/grader experience is considered an asset

Responsibilities

• Mark assignments, term projects, case reports, midterms, progress exams, and/or final exams
• Provide written feedback identifying basis of grade (content, writing, spelling, grammar, overall structure)
• May invigilate mid-terms and examinations
• Enter grades into databases at course instructor’s request
