Job summary

Brock University is hiring a part-time Marker-Grader for the CUPE4207-1 group in the Management of Info Systems & Technology. The role involves marking assignments and exams with detailed, rubric-based feedback, and may include invigilating tests and entering grades into the course database.

Compensation ranges by education level from first-year to a master’s degree, with hourly rates published and effective September 1, 2026; on-campus work is required where possible.

Qualifications

• Proven competency in the subject area, including a minimum of 80% in the course being applied for (or equivalent) and an overall average of 80%.
• Excellent English Language Skills.
• Previous Marker/Grader experience would be an asset.

Responsibilities

• Mark assignments, term projects, case reports, midterms, progress exams, and/or final exams and provide written feedback identifying the basis of the grade.
• Prepare to invigilate mid-terms and examinations for the course as needed.
• Enter grades into databases at the course instructor's request.
