AdvanTec Marine in Chilliwack, BC is seeking an Electrician/Assembler to join the Custom Fabrication team. The role involves reading blueprints, assembling components, and testing electrical systems within a marine closures manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings.
• Experience with electrical wiring and component testing.
• Proficient with power tools and light machinery.
• Strong math and measurement skills.
• Able to work in a team and independently.
• 5+ years in related field.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Forklift operator certification is a plus.
• Overhead crane certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Analyze blueprints to plan assembly sequence and materials.
• Prepare, assemble, and install fabricated components in the final product.
• Test, troubleshoot and repair electrical wiring and related devices.
• Monitor quality and ensure safety standards are met.
• Collaborate with Maintenance and SIW departments as required.
• Follow documented procedures and complete records.
