Job summary

AdvanTec Marine in Chilliwack, BC is hiring an Electrician/Assembler for its Custom Fabrication team. The role focuses on reading blueprints, preparing, assembling, installing, testing, and repairing electrical wiring and related equipment for marine closures.

You will use light machinery, support maintenance, and assist other departments as needed while ensuring quality and safety throughout the process.

Qualifications

• Must have experience in fabrication/assembly.
• Ability to read blueprints and drawings.
• Electrical wiring experience (12-24V).
• Detail oriented and able to read a tape measure.
• Team player with ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Analyze blueprints and drawings to plan material needs and assembly sequence.
• Operate light machinery (grinders, sanders, drills, saws).
• Assemble and install fabricated components in final product.
• Test, troubleshoot and repair electrical wiring and equipment.
• Ensure quality and compliance with safety standards.
