The A220 commercial aircraft Programme is looking for an Engineering Specialist, Final Line to join our MAP (mise au point) based in Mirabel (Québec, Canada).
You will be part of the Engineering MAP team day shift responsible for supporting the A220 Final line deliveries as an Engineering Rep.
The team organization is established to promote cross-collaboration autonomously, supporting each other and learning collectively.

Obtain & follow delivery schedule;
Follow & support Preflight DI (Daily Inspections), Production Flight Tests and aircraft delivery activities, for technical issues;
Coordinate and manage engineering support for technical Flight snag resolution;
Perform aircraft system data analysis for snag resolution;
Participate in pre-flight briefing & post-flight debriefing;
Interact with Quality and DM (Delegate of the Minister) in the C of A process;
Support any Transport Canada or other regulating authority snag resolution requiring engineering / airworthiness support;
Interact with Delivery Manager for any contractual issues requiring System Engineering support;
Represent System Engineering during the aircraft delivery process with the Customer Aircraft Acceptance Team;
Act as Engineering focal for technical Customer Flight snag resolution;
Provide feedback from Flight tests / Aircraft deliveries to the engineering organization in order to avoid repetitive aircraft Flight snags.
You have a University or a College degree in Aerospace or related Engineering field;
You have a minimum of 10 years of experience in systems design, in-service support, as a licensed technician (AME, A&P) and/or as a functional test specialist;
You are familiar and effective with aircraft troubleshooting procedures and have proven skills in problem solving;
You are familiar with MAP Systems role in Airbus;
You have a high sense of commitment, and a willingness to accept responsibilities while acting independently in a high-pressure production environment;
You are driven to improve performance and are willing to lead initiative and follow through successful implementation;
You have good interpersonal, communication and organizational skills;
You are flexible in your work schedule to ensure aircraft support as needs evolve;
You have working knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Powerpoint, Word, ...);
You are bilingual (French and English).
