Job summary

Trimble is seeking a Precision Electronics Technician in Richmond Hill, ON to lead precision assembly, testing and diagnostic troubleshooting of electro-mechanical systems.

You will build, test, calibrate, and optimize hardware while contributing to test equipment design and data documentation. This role offers hands-on work with cutting-edge technology in a global company.

Qualifications

• Practical experience in electronic assembly, installation, hardware and firmware processes.

Responsibilities

Key Exciting Responsibilities

• Perform precision assembly, wiring, cable harnessing, hand soldering, and calibration on complex electronic and electro-mechanical instruments.
• Conduct comprehensive sub-assembly, unit, and system-level testing to troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve technical issues.
• Collaborate in the design and assembly of customized test equipment to evaluate unit functionality and technical performance.
• Document technical data, summarize diagnostic findings, and recommend product or test station enhancements to optimize equipment output.
• Ensure full compliance with workplace environmental, health, and safety standards while maintaining workstation integrity.
