Job summary

Johnson Electric in Mississauga, Ontario is seeking a Manufacturing Systems Technician to maintain, refurbish, and repair production equipment and facilities. You will support the assembly, debugging, installation, and start-up of new or modified production equipment, applying your hands-on expertise across mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and PLC- and CNC-based control systems.

Ideal candidates hold a skilled trade certificate of electrician and have at least five years of hands-on

Qualifications

Trade certificate of electrician is required.
Minimum 5 years hands-on experience repairing and maintaining CNC machining and automated assembly in a high-volume setting.
Strong skills across mechanical assembly, machine repair, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic and control systems.
Knowledge of QS9000 automotive quality requirements is preferred.

Responsibilities

Maintain, refurbish, troubleshoot, and repair production equipment and facility systems.
Support mechanical assembly, electrical installation, debugging, installation, and start-up of new or modified equipment.
Collaborate with team members to implement machinery for new manufacturing projects.
Maintain ISO/IATF 16949 quality and efficiency targets.
Maintain housekeeping and project organization within the maintenance department.
Perform other duties as assigned.
