Job summary

MCI limited in Canada is seeking a Project Coordinator to drive manufacturing system improvements. You will coordinate design, testing, documentation, training and implementation of customized business solutions for the manufacturing, materials and quality teams.

Responsibilities include leading multiple projects through the development lifecycle, engaging stakeholders, and ensuring high-quality testing and implementation. Travel up to 10% is required.

Qualifications

• Post secondary education in a business or STEM field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum 5 years in a Manufacturing Operations environment.
• Thorough knowledge of ERP systems (Oracle).
• Experience in project or change management is an asset.
• Ability to work with minimum supervision and take initiative to seek improvements.
• Exceptional data problem-solving and project management skills.
• Excellent communication skills, highly organized, self-starter, detail oriented, strong computing and facilitation skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate projects from design to implementation of customized business solutions for manufacturing, materials, and quality teams.
• Identify and drive opportunities for process and system enhancements through regular reviews of workflows.
• Maintain deep understanding of processes, data, and system functionalities for efficient operations.
• Manage multiple complex projects across the development lifecycle, including scope, timelines, requirements, development coordination, testing, and rollout.
• Assist staff in effectively utilizing deployed business applications.
• Support system implementation and ongoing maintenance.
• Organize and lead meetings with business users, external consultants, and SMEs to define processes, scope and impact.
• Lead acceptance testing for new systems and enhancements to ensure they meet specifications.
