Job description

This established designer and manufacturer of highly engineered equipment is looking to add the talents of an accomplished Quality Manager to their team. The Quality Manager is responsible for the continual development of the Quality Management System, maintaining ISO registration and working with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with established practices. A strong track record of hands-on Quality Management experience within an engineered-to-order fabrication environment or an integrator of customized complex systems is mandatory. This role will be expected to display admirable leadership qualities and the ability to straddle both the tactical and strategic elements of Quality Management.

Our ideal candidate is an engaging people leader and motivator, with a track record of building transparency, engagement, and alignment across teams and functions. A capable problem solver will be asked to rely on Root Cause Analysis & Continuous Improvement tools; formal Lean training will contribute to success in this role. Candidates with a Post-Secondary Engineering education will be highly valued, as will relevant credentials such as CQE or CMQ. Being a CWB Certified Weld Inspector is required for this position.
