LHH is working with a client in Windsor, CA who needs a Manufacturing Quality Engineer. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical, or manufacturing engineering, along with 3+ years of relevant experience in injection molding machining, automated assembly, and production equipment. This role requires a thorough understanding of lean manufacturing techniques, quality tools, and advanced computer skills, including SPC software.

Education and/or Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, manufacturing engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Thorough knowledge of lean manufacturing techniques and manufacturing quality tools.
  • Training in AIAG concepts preferred; Quality certifications such as Six Sigma, ASQ are a plus.
  • 3+ years related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Knowledge of engineering drawings with GD&T and metrology experience.
  • Advanced computer skills, including the use of statistical process control (SPC) software.
  • Thorough knowledge of manufacturing methods and processes, including injection molding, machining, and automated assembly and production equipment.
  • Knowledge of electronic test equipment.
  • Ability to prepare complex written reports and documents.
  • Ability to understand complex verbal and written instructions.
  • SAP experience is a plus.
