**Degree Required:** Bachelor’s degree or equivalent foreign education

**Academic Discipline(s):** Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a closely related field

**Experience Required:** 6 years post-degree progressive experience

**Alternate Occupations Accepted:** Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a closely related field

**Job Responsibilities:**

  1. Leading and overseeing end-to-end QA engineering and testing initiatives throughout the software development lifecycle, including test planning, design, execution, reporting, automation, and various testing types (functional, regression, UAT, black box, white box).
  2. Creating and maintaining test plans and cases using approved standards, processes, and tools.
  3. Evaluating risk levels to determine scope and coverage of test plans.
  4. Executing test cases and documenting defects accurately.
  5. Conducting requirements gathering, development, and review.
  6. Participating in project planning and management.
  7. Understanding technical and functional architecture, security, and compliance requirements of systems.
  8. Creating and maintaining complex database queries and automation scripts.
  9. Designing test harnesses, automation, and performance testing frameworks.
  10. Implementing automated testing solutions within DevOps CI/CD pipelines.
  11. Analyzing software test metrics and providing recommendations.
  12. Architecting and suggesting improvements for testing frameworks.
  13. Guiding best practices in automation development, documentation, maintainability, and data-driven development.
  14. Mentoring team members on job essentials.

Position may telecommute from any U.S. state except California, Connecticut, Hawaii, Rhode Island, and Washington.

**Minimum Qualifications:**

  1. Knowledge of analyzing requirements and creating test plans and cases based on Business Requirement Documents.
  2. Experience in planning and coordinating QA activities including defect tracking and re-testing.
  3. Proficiency in executing test cases, logging defects, and collaborating with development teams.
  4. Experience with System, End-to-End, Functional, Integration, Regression, and UAT testing.
  5. Knowledge of Web service, Mainframe, Data warehousing, and Point of Sale testing.
  6. Familiarity with Bugzilla, Jira, and Star Team.
  7. Knowledge of SQL Server, Unix, Soap UI, CICS, JCL, and Oracle.
  8. Understanding of HTML, XML, JSP, and Servlets.

Applicants will undergo drug screening and background checks upon hire.

Salary: $120,000 – $135,000 annually.

Work Location: 5381 S. Green Street, Murray, UT 84123, with telecommuting options from most states.

Hours: Typically 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday to Friday.
