Job summary

OIC Foods Inc. in Mississauga is seeking a Project Manager to lead cross-functional projects from planning through production, delivery, and closeout.

You will manage scope, schedules, costs, risks and stakeholder expectations, driving execution through PM systems and continuous improvement. Requirements include a Bachelor's in Engineering, PMP certification or pursuit, 7+ years of project leadership, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience managing projects, preferably in the Manufacturing industry.
• Bachelor Degree in Engineering or related field.
• PMP certification or pursuing a PMP certification.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Intermediate Microsoft Office skills.

Responsibilities

• Define scope, objectives, deliverables, milestones, and schedules.
• Lead projects from initiation through production, delivery, installation, and closeout.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams and resolve project roadblocks.
• Utilize and maintain project management systems to track schedules, tasks, costs, risks, and project performance.
• Monitor project costs, forecasts, budgets, and schedule performance.
• Identify variances and delays; implement corrective and recovery actions.
• Support quotations, costing, and change orders.
• Identify, assess, and manage project risks and issues.
• Develop mitigation plans and elevate critical issues as required.
• Manage customer and stakeholder communications, expectations, and project updates.
• Coordinate meetings, design reviews, inspections, approvals, and deliverables.
• Maintain project records, reports, metrics, action items, approvals, and technical documentation.
• Coordinate final acceptance, handover, cost review, and project closeout.
• Identify and implement improvements to project and manufacturing processes.
