Job summary

Maple Leaf Foods Inc. in Mississauga is seeking an Industrial Engineer to establish labour standards, track performance, and support medium- to long-term strategic initiatives across the organization.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams including Marketing, R&D, Operations, and Finance to develop sustainable plans that meet objectives and improve efficiency in a zero-based budget environment.

Qualifications

• Industrial Engineering degree required or equivalent.
• Professional Engineering Designation or eligibility preferred.
• 3 to 5+ years of relevant industrial experience in CPG, Food & Beverage, or high-speed manufacturing preferred.
• Practical experience with labour standards, methods analysis, time studies, and line balancing.

Responsibilities

• Establish labour standards and track performance to cost labour, packaging, and materials.
• Lead master capacity planning with Supply Chain and Commercial teams.
• Provide manufacturing insight on product development opportunities (cost, capacity, capability).
• Perform line balancing and waste elimination using IE tools.
