Job summary

Lactalis Canada, part of the Lactalis Group, is seeking a Project Manager to lead engineering and manufacturing projects across our facilities in Canada. You will manage project planning, design, execution and completion while ensuring budget compliance and adherence to quality standards.

The role requires strong project management, technical knowledge in processing and packaging, and the ability to collaborate with Production, Maintenance and Procurement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering is required; Mechanical preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Experience with manufacturing processes and systems is expected.

Responsibilities

• Lead CAPEX development project plans, schedules and budgets.
• Coordinate resources and ensure milestones are met.
• Define scope and deliverables in collaboration with management.
• Communicate project status to stakeholders clearly and timely.
• Proactively manage changes and develop contingency plans.
• Design, evaluate and optimize manufacturing processes, equipment and systems.
• Prepare technical documentation and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Coach and supervise project teams and contractors.
• Collaborate with Production, Maintenance and Procurement for cross-functional alignment.
