Job summary

Morrisons is seeking a Line Leader for our abattoir production team. You will oversee a small group in a set area, driving standards to ensure consistent delivery and providing tools and training on key ways of working and site processes.

You will work with a team, supporting colleagues, training new starters, and handling machinery operation, batch control, labeling, audits, and reporting on production line performance in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Able to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Able to work in fast-paced food manufacturing with varying temperatures.
• Comfortable working in chilled temperatures and around raw meat.

Responsibilities

• Oversee a small group of colleagues in a defined area of the operation.
• Operate and set up production machinery.
• Perform batch control and labeling.
• Conduct audits and quality checks.

You'll provide the tools and training to help our colleagues to understand key ways of working and relevant site processes.

Working as part of a team, you'll be supportive to colleagues and demonstrate a positive attitude, sharing knowledge and training new team members. Key parts of the role will include machinery operation and set up, batch control and labelling, audits and quality checks, and reporting on performance status of the production line.
