Job summary

Our manufacturing client seeks a Financial Accountant to join the Finance team in Canada. You will gain hands-on exposure to month-end close, inventory and cost accounting, tax, financial reporting, and analysis while collaborating with Supply Chain and Production.

Reporting to the Controller, you will wear multiple hats, develop broad accounting expertise, and grow within a globally recognized organization.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of accounting experience.
• Inventory and cost accounting in manufacturing.
• Exposure to manufacturing clients in public accounting.
• Strong Excel and Power BI skills.
• Willing to wear multiple hats; hands-on environment.

Responsibilities

• Support month-end and year-end close processes.
• Prepare tax filings, including Canadian sales tax.
• Perform bank and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Support inventory valuation and cost accounting.
• Analyze financial information and reporting.
• Develop KPI reporting for Plant Operations.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain and Production for insights.
• Support intercompany accounting and FX transactions.
