Job summary

DMC Recruitment Group is recruiting for a Manufacturing Accountant / Financial Analyst in Toronto. This onsite role connects accounting, financial analysis and operational realities to drive margins and cost control.

You will work closely with the Controller and plant leadership, digging into inventory, costing, manufacturing costs, budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis and performance metrics. A strong accounting foundation in manufacturing is essential.

Qualifications

• Hands-on accounting experience in manufacturing.
• Experience with inventory, costing/cost accounting and month-end.
• Exposure to budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis or variance analysis.
• Strong Excel skills and experience with ERP systems.
• Comfortable working directly with operations and plant leadership.

Responsibilities

• Dig into inventory and cost accounting to support margins and manufacturing costs.
• Partner with Controller and plant leadership on budgeting, forecasting and variance analyses.
• Analyze operating performance and identify drivers behind variances.
• Ensure accurate month-end close and multi-site reporting.
