Job summary

Riverside Natural Foods Ltd. in Canada seeks a Senior Financial Analyst-Manufacturing to drive financial insights for plant operations and cross-functional teams.

You will lead monthly variance reporting, product costing, forecasting, and year-end audits while promoting cost optimization and operational excellence. Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of manufacturing finance experience, strong costing knowledge, SAP/ERP familiarity, and excellent Excel and analytical skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, finance or accounting.
• CPA or working towards CPA designation.
• 3–5 years of progressive experience in finance in manufacturing.
• Familiarity with costing methodologies and SAP/ERP.
• Strong analytical, financial modeling and Excel skills.
• Experience influencing cross-functional partners.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly manufacturing scorecard and KPI variance analysis.
• Own costing for production lines, including new formulas with brand/SC/R&D.
• Support financial forecasting and plant year-end audit activities.
• Identify opportunities for productivity, CAPEX, inventory, controls, and quality.
• Maintain costing policy compliance and document methodologies.
• Prepare ad-hoc reports with variance explanations for leadership.
• Collaborate with plant leadership to drive cost optimization.
