Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related engineering discipline.
• 7+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering or related fields.
• Experience leading technical teams and driving accountability for manufacturability, quality, and production readiness.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, process controls, inspection planning, and documentation.
• Experience with prototype builds, pilot production, and new product introduction.
• Proficiency with engineering drawings, BOMs, routings, quality records, and corrective action systems.
• Lean manufacturing, DFM/DFA, and continuous improvement experience.
• Ability to lead in a growing, evolving manufacturing operation.

Responsibilities

• Lead manufacturing engineering, quality engineering, and prototype teams across new products.
• Oversee design-to-production handoffs ensuring manufacturability and production readiness.
• Bridge engineering, quality, supply chain, production, and leadership on buildability and readiness.
• Develop and improve manufacturing processes, work instructions, inspection plans, and docs.
• Lead prototype, pilot build, first article, and first-time-build activities.
• Drive DFM/DFA, risk reviews, tooling reviews, and production-readiness evaluations.
• Champion root cause analysis, corrective actions, and continuous improvement.
• Identify equipment, fixtures, tooling, and facility needs.
• Set team objectives aligned with launches and site performance.
• Mentor staff and foster culture of ownership and safety.
