Job summary

Hexagon's Autonomous Solutions division seeks a Manufacturing Engineering Manager to lead manufacturing and quality engineering, prototype activities, and production readiness at its Dowling, Ontario site. You will drive DFM/DFA, process development, and documentation control while mentoring teams to achieve scalable manufacturing and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a manufacturing/engineering discipline or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years in manufacturing engineering, quality engineering, or related ops.
• Proven leadership of technical teams driving manufacturability and production readiness.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, process controls, inspection planning, and documentation.
• Experience with prototype builds, pilot production, and NPI efforts.
• Lean, DFM/DFA, and continuous improvement exposure.
• Ability to lead in a growing, evolving manufacturing operation.

Responsibilities

• Lead manufacturing engineering, quality engineering, quality technician, and prototype teams.
• Oversee design-to-production handoffs to ensure manufacturability and production readiness.
• Bridge engineering, quality, supply chain, production, and leadership for buildability and readiness.
• Develop and improve processes, work instructions, inspection plans, test procedures, and documentation.
• Lead prototype, pilot builds, first article, and first-time-build activities; capture lessons learned.
• Drive DFM, DFA, tooling reviews, and production-readiness evaluations.
• Champion root-cause analysis, corrective actions, and continuous improvement.
