  2. Collaborate with design, quality, and production teams to assess and approve new designs for electronics and electrical assemblies.
  3. Ensure manufacturing feasibility is considered in new product designs for a smooth transition from design to production.
  4. Lead the development and implementation of optimized manufacturing processes to improve cost, efficiency, and quality.
  5. Process Improvement & Validation:
  6. Monitor manufacturing processes to ensure compliance with aerospace standards, IPC, AS9100, and other applicable regulations.
  7. Perform validation and qualification of manufacturing processes using SPC and Six Sigma methodologies.
  8. Implement lean manufacturing principles to reduce waste, optimize cycle times, and improve efficiency.
  9. Analyze manufacturing and test data to identify trends and drive process improvements.
  10. Technical Support & Problem-Solving:
  11. Work with other departments to improve manufacturability of existing and new products, balancing innovation with practical production needs.
  12. Provide technical support to production teams, troubleshooting and resolving complex manufacturing and quality issues.
  13. Use root cause analysis (RCA) and problem-solving techniques (such as 8D, DMAIC) to resolve quality concerns.
  14. Documentation & Compliance:
  15. Develop and maintain work instructions, process documentation, and assembly procedures for electronic products.
  16. Ensure first-time production meets proper manufacturing processes and compliance requirements.
  17. Training & Capital Planning:
  18. Train and certify manufacturing and test operators on best practices and processes.
  19. Assist in developing annual plans for equipment, capital investments, and yield improvements.
  20. Production Support
Who You Are:
  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering, preferably in aerospace electronics, avionics, or electrical component production.
  • Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and process optimization techniques.
  • Experience with SPC, DOE, and quality control methodologies.
  • Familiarity with industry standards such as IPC-A-610 and AS9100.
  • Excellent problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Hands-on experience with electronics testing and troubleshooting.
What You Should Bring:

The ideal candidate will have a degree in Science or Engineering or a related field, with at least 3-5 years of relevant experience. Additional qualities include:

  • High motivation and results-oriented focus
  • Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills
