The Machining Center Inc. is seeking an experienced Manual Machinist for turning, milling and grinding. The role focuses on precision work on customer-supplied one-off components and includes mentoring apprentices.
You will operate on a low-volume, high-variety shop, with an emphasis on accuracy and part preservation. Typical responsibilities include reading drawings, planning machining steps, and performing inspections.
$28–$35/hour (negotiable based on experience)

You will work in a low-volume, high-variety environment, completing maintenance and repair machining where accuracy, judgment, and confidence are critical. This position does not require CNC programming (but will help the candite stand out).
