Job summary

TMX Group is seeking a MD of Digital Finance to lead the finance digital transformation. You will migrate and optimize financial data onto a Snowflake infrastructure, automate legacy processes, and provide real-time insights across finance and business teams.

Reporting to the Chief Strategy and Innovation Officer, you will define a multi-year data roadmap, drive modern analytics, and collaborate with senior leaders to enable data-driven decision making in a hybrid Toronto-based role.

Qualifications

12+ years of demonstrated ability with strong financial analysis skills and research.
Professional designation (CFA, CPA) or MBA.
Strong organizational, analytical and conceptual skills.
Relationship builder and collaborator; effective and positive management style.
Robust technical acumen in data management, governance practices and tools (e.g., statistical analysis, Snowflake, data warehousing, data mining, data engineering, python, R, SQL). Also Excel (pivot tables, model building, model auditing).
Ability to work across organizational lines and lead teams.

Responsibilities

Lead Finance analytics and provide actionable insights to senior leadership.
Oversee migration of financial data onto Snowflake and modernize workflows.
Build and maintain the financial semantic layer for AI readiness.
Partner with FBPs and BU data experts to drive cross-functional solutions.
Manage a team of 2–3 data professionals and collaborate with central data teams.
