Job summary

BrightPath Kids in Canada is seeking an Early Childhood Educator (Infant/Toddler) to join our Busy Bees family and care for children ages 6 weeks to 3 years in a home-like setting.

Responsibilities include implementing our curriculum, promoting child well-being, assessing development, and collaborating with families and staff. A strong emphasis is placed on teamwork and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Certificate as Early Childhood Educator Infant Toddler required.
• Must meet province requirements for childcare employment.
• Current Standard First Aid and infant CPR.
• Current immunization and health assessment as per local health requirements.

• Developing and implementing a program in line with BrightPath’s curriculum that supports the development of children.
• Maintaining an environment that protects the well-being of children.
• Assessing the abilities, interests, and needs of children and discussing progress with parents and other staff.
• Establishing collaborative relationships with co-workers, management, and families.
• Attending staff meetings and professional development opportunities as necessary.
• Working to maintain cleanliness and organization of classroom materials.
• Other duties as assigned.
