Job Title: Assurance Manager (Public Practice)

Overview:

The Assurance Manager provides technical leadership on assurance engagements while reviewing work, mentoring staff, and ensuring high-quality client service. This role does not include traditional direct reports but involves coaching and reviewing team members assigned to active engagements. The primary focus is assurance work for construction companies and non-profit organizations. However, the firm values flexibility, and managers are expected to support other practice areas, including tax during busy seasons (training provided). The firm is also open to candidates with a strong tax compliance background who are interested in a management role.

What you will be doing:
  • Lead and manage review and assurance engagements from planning through completion.
  • Review working paper files, financial statements, and related compliance documentation.
