Job summary

Ifg Global in Markham, Ontario, is seeking a Manager, Assurance to lead client audits and assurance work within a mid-size accounting firm. The role requires CPA designation and at least five years in public accounting; you will coordinate audits, prepare working papers, and communicate audit findings with clients.

Expected in-office presence is three days per week outside tax season and four days during tax season, supporting both corporate and personal tax prep as part of the client service

Qualifications

• CPA designation and 5 years in a public accounting firm.
• Proficiency in Caseware/Caseview, Excel, Word and TaxPrep.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute client audits including scheduling, planning and file prep.
• Prepare audit findings letters and related correspondence with clients.
• Review personal income tax returns for complex matters.
• Prepare financial statements and working papers to firm standards.

Our client, a mid size accounting firm located in Markham, is looking for a Manager, Assurance tojoin their team. If you are passionate about accounting, assurance, corporate and personal tax prep, then please read further. The successful candidate will have to be in office 3 days a week outside of tax season. Within tax season, the successful candidate will be required to be in office 4 days a week.

The key accountabilities and responsibilities include the following;

• Planning and executingclient audits including scheduling, planning andfileprep
• Working closely with clients and preparation ofaudit findingsletters and related correspondence
• Reviewing personal income tax returns of a more complex matter
• Preparingfinancial statements and working paper files in accordance with firm standards effectively and efficiently

• Advanced skills in Caseware/Caseview, Excel, Word and TaxPrep
