As Canada’s second largest science centre, Science North operates a multi-faceted operation in Sudbury, Ontario, along with a thriving International Sales business and bases of operations in Thunder Bay and Sault Ste. Marie along with national touring operations. Our people are what drives the success of the organization and what make all the moving pieces come together seamlessly. Our Human Resources and Organization Development team work together to grow, develop and serve our greatest resource. We are looking to add to our team with the addition of a Manager of Talent Acquisition and Engagement.
Under the supervision of the Director of Human Resources and IT, you will work alongside a team of professionals to navigate a diverse and exciting portfolio. In this role, you will lead the planning, implementation and oversight of recruiting, benefits, employee engagement/recognition and health & safety. In order to be successful, you will ideally have a degree in a related discipline and 3-5 years’ experience working within a similar portfolio. As part of the team, you will also support numerous other initiatives and programs in our highly collaborative team. Our culture is people-centric and you will be hands-on, working directly with our internal and external partners and staff, both one-on-one and as part of teams. This is an exciting opportunity to join a fantastic team that is cooperative, supportive, and takes pride in their work.
