The Strategic Supply Management team provides leadership in supply chain management to secure the best value acquisitions. Currently undergoing transformation to better align processes and capacity with corporate objectives, the team includes sourcing and procurement specialists who collaborate with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to manage purchases, control costs, mitigate risks, and meet key objectives.

What you will be doing:

• Managing diverse projects focusing on complex service delivery areas such as automotive insurance claims, health services, IT, and professional services.
• Developing and executing complex sourcing strategies, leading procurement projects, implementing contract management, and guiding teams through organizational transformation. Building strong relationships, enabling business goals, and championing innovation are key aspects of this role.

What you must have:

• Excellent communication skills to secure buy-in from internal customers and senior management, influencing outcomes through consulting and guidance across divisions.
• Strong negotiation skills to achieve favorable pricing and terms, with experience leading cross-functional teams through procurement processes.
• Experience managing critical contracts related to professional services, IT, and insurance claims suppliers.
• Leadership experience with direct reports and teams.
• Experience in public sourcing (federal, provincial, or municipal).
• Post-secondary qualification, with knowledge of strategic sourcing, supplier relationship management, and government procurement requirements. A Supply Chain Management Professional (SCMP) designation and a degree in commerce or related fields are assets.
• Legal eligibility to work in Canada.

Salary/Rate Range:

$101,774 – $127,217

Other Information:

• Hybrid work model: minimum 8 days/month onsite at headquarters (typically 2 days/week), with remaining days remote within BC.
