The role involves utilizing sales and operations processes, tools, and methodologies to enhance demand planning strategy and accuracy. Responsibilities include analyzing and improving demand forecasts, providing data-driven insights, and mentoring team members.

Major Tasks, Responsibilities, and Key Accountabilities

• Support the development and execution of enterprise sales and operations processes across all segments.
• Assist in demand planning activities, developing processes, analytics, and delivering forecasts.
• Develop metrics and reports on forecast accuracy, identifying root causes and driving improvements.
• Coordinate sales and operations to optimize customer service and inventory performance, sharing best practices.
• Identify and reconcile forecast discrepancies, risks, and opportunities.
• Create statistical forecasts, analyze data, and prepare executive-level presentations.
• Collaborate with departments to incorporate new product onboarding, retirements, and other changes into demand planning.

Nature and Scope

• Require analysis and investigation.
• Achieve results through professional judgment and practical experience.
• Manage a team of professionals and support staff.
• Work in a comfortable indoor environment with minimal unpleasant conditions.
• Occasional light movement and infrequent travel (<10%).

Education and Experience

• BS/BA in a related discipline, with 7+ years of experience. Certification or an advanced degree may offset experience requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

• Over 5 years of demand forecasting and S&O process experience.
• Bachelor’s in Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or Supply Chain Management.
• Experience with large-scale inventory initiatives, ERP, BI, and data analysis tools.
