Job summary

Community Living Society in New Westminster, BC, seeks a Manager of Staffed Homes to lead a cluster of staffed homes and a relief pool. You will coach Team Leads and Community Living Counsellors, with day-to-day administration and occasional direct support.

Ideal candidates have leadership experience, a Class 5 license, access to a vehicle, First Aid/CPR, and strong administrative skills. The role offers a 35-hour week, on-site locations, and a salary of $83,000 per year.

Qualifications

• Class 5 driver’s license required.
• Access to a reliable vehicle.
• First Aid and CPR certificate required.
• Clear criminal record (paid by CLS).
• Medical form with immunization record.
• Previous leadership and supervisory experience.
• Strong computer and administrative skills.
• Knowledge of Person Centered Active Supports concepts and approaches.

Responsibilities

• Oversee multiple staffed home locations and relief pool.
• Coach and develop Team Leads and Community Living Counsellors.
• Handle scheduling, timecard approvals, budgeting and financial reporting.
• Maintain relationships with supported individuals, families and networks.
• Ensure emergency preparedness and smooth operation of locations.
