Position Overview

We are seeking a Senior Manager, Software Development to join the Developer Relations team within our Developer Ecosystem Organization. In this role, you will lead a global Developer Relations team focused on CI/CD, Observability, and Cloud Computing support, as well as onboarding to CloudOS, Autodesk’s enterprise Cloud Development Platform, and regionalization efforts. The ideal candidate will have deep hands-on experience in building modern CI/CD pipelines and Cloud deployments, excel in relationship building, and provide onboarding support to our product engineers. Knowledge of industry trends and engineering best practices is essential. You should be comfortable in an agile environment and skilled at building effective teams that inspire excellence.

Responsibilities

1. Manage high-performance technical support engineering teams, fostering growth and innovation.
2. Drive design and implementation of tools for automated support systems.
3. Participate in technical and architectural discussions, providing guidance and decision-making.
4. Collaborate regularly with engineers, architects, product owners, and managers.
5. Proactively remove obstacles and empower your team to deliver quality software confidently and frequently.
6. Build a transparent, mature operational culture, mentor team members, and equip them for success.
7. Support internal development teams using our platform through standard methodologies, documentation, and tools.
8. Navigate escalations and act as a bridge between engineering teams.

Minimum Qualifications

1. 7–12 years managing high-performing engineering teams, with focus on CI/CD, Cloud deployment, DevOps, and developer advocacy.
2. Experience with Cloud Infrastructure (AWS, databases, networking), Kubernetes, and GCP Apigee API management.
3. BSc or MSc in Computer Science or related field.
4. Proven ability to build diverse, high-performing teams and attract top talent.
5. Experience collaborating across functions to influence product and technical strategies.
6. Ability to set high technical standards ensuring performance, reliability, and scalability.
7. Experience working with distributed teams.
8. Expertise in engineering best practices like TDD, continuous delivery, automation, and maintainable code.
9. Excellent interpersonal skills; capable of explaining complex technical issues clearly to broad audiences.

Qualifications minimales

1. 7 à 12 ans d'expérience dans la gestion d'équipes d'ingénieurs performantes, avec expertise en CI/CD, déploiement Cloud, DevOps, et advocacy développeur.
2. Compétences en Infrastructure Cloud (AWS, bases de données, réseaux), Kubernetes, et gestion API avec GCP Apigee.
3. Diplôme en informatique ou domaine technique connexe (BSc ou MSc).
4. Expérience avérée dans la constitution d'équipes diversifiées et attractives.
5. Capacité à influencer la stratégie produit et technique en collaboration interfonctionnelle.
6. Capacité à établir des normes techniques élevées pour performance, fiabilité, et scalabilité.
7. Expérience avec des équipes distribuées.
