About the role

We're currently looking for a Manager responsible for our software development Web teams.

Workplace :

Hybrid. Our model offers the best of both worlds, with our Montreal office (2020 Robert-Bourassa Blvd.) serving as our preferred space for in-person collaboration and team meetings.

What you'll do :

• Develop productive and engaged teams, fostering the development of personal and technical skills, as well as collaboration.
• Work closely with the Product Manager to define overall project scope and objectives, and provide leadership and vision.
• Translate business objectives into clear team and individual goals, and into an inspiring technology roadmap, in collaboration with the Product Owner and Strategy & Design Director.
• Plan human resources needs in software development, identify gaps, and ensure a good balance between project needs and resource development.
• Ensure proactive communication at all levels and mobilize teams.
• Anticipate problems and take steps to resolve them.
• Act as the main technical contact with other technology teams.
• Work with the team to determine technical feasibility and ensure high-quality products.
• Identify opportunities to reuse and optimize code components.
• Define and implement production support to help resolve technical problems.
• Continuously evolve development practices, tools, and processes to increase team autonomy and efficiency.

What you bring to the table :

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology / Software Engineering or equivalent experience.
• A minimum of 2 years' experience in team management.
• A minimum of 2 years' experience in project management.
• Bilingualism (French and English).
• Solid experience in delivering products in Agile / Scrum mode.
• Mastery of Java, Angular, Kotlin, Swift, REST Architecture, Microservices, JSON, Git.
• A minimum of 7 years' experience in software development.
• Excellent communication skills.
• No Canadian work experience required, but must have authorization to work in Canada.
