Toyota Canada Inc. (TCI) currently has an exciting opportunity for a candidate to oversee all sales strategy, planning and reporting activities for Toyota & Lexus brands within Canada. This is a full-time opportunity and will report to the National Manager, Sales & Inventory Planning.
The selected candidate will provide guidance and requests to internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment to vehicle and division sales strategies (volume, share, ranking, brand).

What You’ll be Doing:
- Accountable for all areas related to sales planning
- Key contact with TMNA in all areas related to sales for Toyota and Lexus, including bi-annual sales planning discussions.
- Maintain and clearly communicate monthly, annual, and longer-term sales planning processes considering industry, segment, competitive/internal factors to provide sales plans and strategic direction to stakeholders.
- Manage all sales reporting activities and head ongoing market analysis and PDCA of sales planning activity.
- Provide detailed analysis of sales and market conditions/trends.
- Build team capabilities through effective performance management, coaching and mentoring.
- Ensure effective communication and coordination of activities affected by sales plans within SIP and related departments
- Communicate TCI sales plan, inventory outlook and overall strategy to dealer network at subcommittee meetings
- Initiate and implement appropriate 'kaizen' (continuous improvement) efforts which drive work efficiencies relating to cost reduction or avoidance, improved time and process efficiencies.
- Ensure creation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and backup coverage across the Sales Planning team
- Standardize successes across the team and organization through best practice sharing
People Management
- Provide timely guidance, coaching, feedback, and accountability for direct reports to drive learning & development and successful project completion
- Influence team members to foster collaboration, awareness, support & Kaizen (continuous improvement) resulting in work efficiencies
- Empower the team to take initiative and proactively influence the business
What You’ll Bring:
- University degree in a business-related field
- 5+ years of sales, incentive and/or supply planning experience
- Field experience highly desirable
- Demonstrates effective communication (oral and written) with experience in driving organizational change
- Experience with research and analytics
