Our Opportunity:

Restaurant Brands International is looking for a

Manager, Retail Brick & Mortar Channel, TH, Canada to drive overall retail sales, profitability, and execution in our brick & mortar (B&M) restaurant channel.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Drive successful execution of retail initiatives in Tim Hortons Canada restaurants by working closely with Supply Chain, Operations, Field teams, and Marketing to launch national general merchandise products.
  • Lead supply/demand forecasting for the Retail Brick & Mortar channel.
  • Manage the implementation of nationwide retail projects and initiatives, proactively resolving challenges and managing risks impacting business or strategic objectives.
  • Manage planning and execution of all retail test markets from initial design to launch, collaborating with cross-functional teams on test briefs, site assessments, operations procedures, owner communications/surveys, and inventory optimization.
  • Partner with Operations & Merchandising teams to create retail-specific restaurant execution standards and requirements to enhance visual merchandising, optimize inventory planning, drive labor efficiencies, and increase retail profitability for owners.
  • Conduct performance analytics including SKU sales, inventory sell-through/shrink, restaurant KPIs, profitability analysis, competitive benchmarking, and broader retail industry performance.
  • Manage relationships with key retail service vendors and partners.
  • Assist in developing a store grading strategy based on restaurant format and site characteristics to tailor retail assortment and fixtures by location.
  • Assist with development and implementation of retail discounting & clearance strategies.
  • Assist in developing all national retail owner communication memos and surveys.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Skills:

  • Post-secondary degree with 2-3 years of relevant experience.
  • Analytical, data-driven mindset with proficiency in conducting quantitative analysis and synthesizing insights for decision-making.
  • Experience in forecasting and/or demand planning.
  • Proven ability to proactively manage complex projects involving cross-functional stakeholders with high autonomy.
  • Strong teamwork, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; experience with ERPs and other retail systems is a plus.
