About The Role

This role is critical in ensuring policy alignment with legislative requirements, optimizing operational effectiveness, and supporting consistent and high-quality service delivery. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of pension plan administration, regulatory frameworks, and operational best practices. This role will lead a team of 2-3 individuals.

As The Newest Member Of Our Team, You Will

  • Analyze and interpret complex pension legislation and regulatory changes, and translate it into actionable and operationally sound policies, procedures and guidance materials.
  • Guide internal teams on pension policy for consistent service and risk management. Develop and manage training, tools, and communications for uniform policy understanding.
  • Monitor policy application to ensure compliance, identifying gaps or risks and recommending process and policy refinements to support compliance and service quality.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert and escalation point for complex or sensitive pension policy issues.
  • Represent the organization in external forums and discussions with external stakeholders, including regulators and industry peers, as required.
  • Prepare briefings, policy documents, and recommendations for senior management, ensuring decisions are guided by operational insights.

To Succeed, You Bring

  • Minimum of 5–7 years of progressively responsible experience in pension policy development, preferably in pension administration or a related field.
  • Bachelor’s degree in public policy, business administration, public administration, law, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience leading a team.
  • Demonstrated experience in operational pension policy implementation and support.
  • Strong understanding of pension legislation, regulatory frameworks, and public sector policy processes.
